Campaigns for integration. We are all equal
UCB Pharma is a bio-pharmaceuticals company working in the field of immunology and neurology, making particular efforts to raise awareness about a range of pathologies such as epilepsy, of which 20,000 new cases are diagnosed each year, 10,000 of them among children and youngsters.
The challenge over the years has been twofold: to explain how to treat the illness in the event of an attack, and above all to integrate patients, and especially the youngest of those diagnosed with epilepsy.
With this goal in mind, and taking into account the influence of football and footballers among children, we have for five years been working on the “Understanding epilepsy makes us equal” campaign promoted by UCB together with the Atlético de Madrid Foundation, which has received accolades for its efforts at integration on numerous occasions and at various medical gatherings.
Balboa works on the creative approach of the ads recorded over successive years by such figures as Koke, Yannik Carrasco, Jesús Gámez and Mario Hermoso as well as coordination of the campaign.
