With our feet on the ground and our head in the sea
Ángel León always wanted to bring the sea to Madrid, and in 2017 he found a way to do so at Hotel Urban’s Glass restaurant, since when he has been serving up the finest seafaring flavours and his culinary art originating in El Puerto de Santa María.
At Glass, Ángel León offers a laid-back menu, the most appreciated dishes being Creamy Rice with Plankton, Smoked Sardine, and Stew of the Sea, paired with different styles of sherry and amontillado cocktails, all served in an informal setting presided over by a huge whale in the centre of the room, a blue marble bar and great jars of plankton.
The challenge for us was to communicate Ángel León’s work at the Hotel Urban’s Glass restaurant, and to convey the marine flavours and commitment of his cooking. We did this by inviting the media, foodies and lovers of fine cuisine to a range of different events.
